Xelleration at the 2017 Silk Road Expedition

June 1, 2017 – Mo Khan, General Manager of Xelleration, joined a team of adventurers, businessmen, writers, photographers, documentary makers and historians for a 30-day, 10600km journey of rediscovering the historic Silk Route.

The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the One Belt One Road (OBOR) plan to encourage trade, travel, and use of this historic trade route which has seen a massive exchange of goods, ideas, cultures and religions across continents. There is great hope that One-Belt-One-Road (OBOR) or the ‘New Silk Road’ initiative of President Xi Jinping will result in the revival of economic benefits of all along the Silk Road.

The current activity of construction of the roads and condition of facilities will provide global businesses like Xelleration to find new clients and branch out in new territories.

The team traveled along the Taklamakan Desert, Tian Shan mountains, Hindu Kush, Karakorum and Himalaya ranges into the less written Southern arm of the trade route to South Asia where it continued through Multan in Pakistan before it terminated in Karachi.
